about prp

PRP is formed from the initials of Platelet Rich Plasma in English. Its Turkish equivalent is plasma rich in platelets. Platelets are rich in growth hormone, which we call growth factor. Therefore, they are tissue repairers.

For PRP treatment, 10 cc of blood is taken from the patient. Thanks to the special centrifuge device and special tubes, the colored cells of the blood are separated, and rich plasma is obtained from the platelets. The PRP obtained from the patient’s own blood is injected into the tissue to be treated.

PRP treatment gives successful results in the loss of cartilage in the knees and meniscus tears.

PRP is also applied in skin wrinkles, spots, hair loss and gives satisfactory results.
