Who Can Have Hair Transplantation?

Hair transplantation with the FUE formula is the removal of hair follicles one by one from the scalp with small instruments (punch) without making any incisions. The method can be applied to both men and women over the age of 18.

How to do hair transplantation ?

The hair need and region of the person to be transplanted are determined, and then the hair is shaved and shortened. The area to be taken is anesthetized by applying local anesthesia. Patients state that they do not feel pain or pain during the process. The patient’s consciousness is clear. The patient can listen to music or watch television. Healthy hair follicles from the nape and auricular areas, which we call the donor area, are taken from the patient, together with the epithelial tissue, in a painless form, with a tool called a punch, under the influence of anesthesia. Subsequently, graft channels are opened to the area to be transplanted as much as the number of grafts taken. These grafts are placed one by one into the opened channels. These processes take about 6-8 hours. An average of 1500 to 4500 grafts can be transplanted in one session. The area taken from the neck is covered with a bandage after dressing. After 2-3 days, the bandages are opened and the hair washing process is done. Afterwards, the patient washes his/her hair at home every day.

Which Procedure is Successful in Hair Transplantation?

The success of the FUE system varies in proportion to the experience, technique and meticulousness of the transplanting physician and his group. The transplanted hair is the patient’s own natural hair. There is no suture mark and under normal conditions it is expected to be permanent for a lifetime.
