The hair follicles located in the nape area behind the two ears on the scalp do not fall out because they are resistant to hormonal and disease-related spills. This area where the hair is genetically protected is the safest donor area for hair transplantation.
The first stage of the operation is the process of numbing the area where the hair will be removed by applying local anesthesia. Since the process is performed with regional anesthesia, the patient stays awake during the operation, can watch TV, eat, read newspapers and books, but does not feel pain.
In the second phase, hair follicles are extracted ready-made in the form of follicular units with special devices developed for this process. In other words, hair follicles are removed “one by one”. The hair follicles that are carefully removed are placed in petri dishes prepared on sterile bases. The hair follicles removed during the period between the removal of hair follicles and the middle of planting are preserved in these boxes containing various solutions and drugs that enable hair growth. In our clinic, PRP (strong plasma from platelets) and special drugs that stimulate various hair follicles are used for this process.
In the third step, channels are opened in the area to be planted. The direction and frequency of the channels is the most valuable factor affecting the success of hair transplantation. The small size of the canal allows the hair follicles to be fully seated in the skin. The direction of the channels should be parallel to the natural hair sides. Hair that is not transplanted at the appropriate frequency and distribution results in undesirable results. In our clinic, this process is done meticulously. By looking at your previous photos and the structure of your skin, the appropriate angle is given to the channels. Another important issue at this stage is the determination of the front hairline. A properly planned anterior hairline determines the success of hair surgery. Because an insufficiently planned front line can negatively affect the appearance of the person, as well as negatively affect his psychology in his future life. It also leads to a second hair surgery for repair purposes. The front hairline should be symmetrical and harmonious. It should be in proportion to the person’s face form and anatomical structure. In addition to these features, it should be determined in accordance with the hair loss pattern. Post-operative
In our clinic, nothing is closed to the transplanted area after the operation. The bandage in the area where the hair is taken is removed under your supervision on the first day after sowing. After removing the bandage, there is no trace of any operation when viewed from the outside. Medicines that provide quick smoothing of the area where the hair is taken and prevent the development of infection are prescribed and their use is explained.
The patient can go home quickly after the operation. There is no washing for the first 3 days after the process. 3 days after the process, the first washing process is done in our clinic.
The transplanted hair starts to shed 3-4 weeks after the operation. The transplanted hair follicles begin to grow and grow again over time. For this process, time is required in the middle of 3-6 months.
