Eyebrow transplantation with DHI (Direct HAIR Implantation)
Regardless of the etiology of eyebrow loss, it can be restored by transplantation.
As the name of the eyebrow transplantation method with DHI suggests, it is the procedure of directly planting the grafts taken from the hair without making any space beforehand. This procedure was developed on the basis of FUE, but it is twice as heavy and offers the advantage of smoothing in a shorter time.
The important thing is that direct sowing should be done without touching the live part of the root.
There is no change in the reception step. The difference between the two systems starts from this step.
In the DHI formula, hair follicles or grafts are divided into clusters.
Grouped grafts are placed in accordance with special hair pens, which we call implanters, ranging from 0.6 mm to 1 mm.
*We should reiterate the difference from the classical FUE method that the planting takes place directly without opening the channels in the planting area.
The biggest advantage of DHI is that it allows root transfer up to 1 cm2 by 120, which is up to 40 grafts per cm2 in FUE. With these special pens, the drilling and planting process is performed together. In this way, the blood supply of the planting area is less than FUE. * Waste because the roots are not touched rate is zero.
Although this process is more valuable than the FUE method, as it requires more equipment and labor than FUE, it provides superior success in eyebrow transplantation.
